As women in business, it can be easy to rely on being nice as a default sales strategy.
We tend to believe that if we are nice enough, we will be liked, and eventually we will be hired because we are so damn likeable.
Nice is not a sales strategy. Being a woman of substance is. You may follow a business because you like them, but, I’ll bet you’d hire the woman who has a message that pierces your heart over nice any day.
